FERTILITY HYPNOTHERAPY IN FULHAM, LONDON, SW6 & ONLINE
Increase your chances of getting pregnant & feel like you again.
Are you struggling to get or stay pregnant?
When it’s proving hard to have the baby you long for, the painful rollercoaster of going from hope to heartbreak month after month can be devastating. Maybe your thoughts of ‘when I get pregnant’ have started to change to ‘if I get pregnant’, as you’ve started to fear it might never happen for you. And while you’re doing everything you can to stay hopeful, part of you is quietly terrified this might never happen - and you don’t know how you’d cope if it never did.
Trying to conceive can become all-consuming. Your life starts to revolve around ovulation tests, symptom spotting and pregnancy tests, and despite doing everything right, it can feel as though your whole life is no longer your own. You're still only seeing one line every month, while everything else feels painfully out of your control.
You can feel isolated and lonely as friends and family don’t understand what you’re going through and the sting of other peoples’ pregnancy announcements and babies becomes a painful reminder of everything you fear you’ll miss out on, as their lives move forward while you’re stuck.
Perhaps you're beginning to realise just how much this has taken over your life. You can't carry on like this - something needs to change.
You’re anxious or down about not being able to get or stay pregnant.
You’re worried that time’s ticking and you’re afraid it might soon run out.
You’re losing faith in your body’s ability to conceive and support a healthy full-term pregnancy.
You’re overwhelmed with stress and really want to feel calmer, but don’t know how - and you're starting to suspect your nervous system needs more than logic to shift out of survival mode and quiet the fear underneath.
Trying to conceive has taken over your life and you want to feel like you again.
Your relationship may be suffering under the pressure.
You wonder whether something deeper might be getting in the way - not just your conscious thoughts, but hidden grief, unresolved trauma or subconscious protections your mind and body put in place long ago.
You’d like the support of somebody who gets it, because they’ve been there, but is also a trained and experienced therapist.
You can’t stop calculating timelines in your head - how old you’ll be next year, how many more cycles you can try - and it feels like you’re racing against something you can’t control.
Because this isn’t just about a pregnancy test. It’s about the life you imagined - and the ache of not knowing how or when it will come to be.
What I can offer is a space where you feel emotionally supported, your nervous system can soften, and deep subconscious patterns can begin to shift - so your whole system starts to feel safe, supported and able to move forward together.
This is where the deeper work begins - and it’s exactly what we do together inside the Fertile Mind, Fertile You Method.
Infertility affects every part of you, so you need a solution for healing your mind and body
Why work with me for fertility?
Over the years, fertility has become a significant area of my practice, and I have worked with many women trying to conceive naturally, undergoing IVF, ICSI and embryo transfer, navigating miscarriage and recurrent loss, and coping with the anxiety that can accompany pregnancy after fertility struggles.
Alongside specialist fertility training and years of experience supporting women through fertility struggles, I also bring a personal understanding of the realities of this journey and the emotional impact it can have. I know how quickly fertility treatment can begin to dominate your thoughts, your plans, your relationships and your sense of self, and how lonely that can sometimes feel.
You won't need to explain
What a two-week wait is.
What it's like to stare at a pregnancy test willing a second line to appear.
The mixture of hope and dread that can accompany every phone call, test result and scan.
How pregnancy announcements can leave you simultaneously happy for somebody else and heartbroken for yourself.
How every month can start to feel like a countdown against time.
I've worked with many women who
Spend hours analysing symptoms, wondering whether this cycle feels different.
Have become frightened to hope, because hope has been painful before.
Feel as though everyone around them is moving forward, while their own life has been put on hold.
Have finally become pregnant, only to discover that the anxiety doesn't magically disappear.
My aim is not only to help support your fertility through fertility-focused hypnotherapy and psychotherapy, but also to help you navigate the process with greater calm, resilience and self-compassion, so that fertility treatment no longer has to dominate every waking moment of your life.
Perhaps some of this feels familiar…
You've been trying to conceive for some time and are wondering whether stress, anxiety, emotional factors or subconscious patterns could be playing a role.
You've been told that everything looks "normal", yet you're still not pregnant.
You're preparing for IVF or embryo transfer and want to give yourself the best possible chance of success.
You've had a failed transfer and are frightened to hope again.
You're checking forums late into the night, trying to work out whether that twinge, cramp or symptom means anything.
You feel as though your life has become measured in cycles, appointments and test results.
You're constantly calculating timelines in your head - wondering what happens if this cycle doesn't work, or the next one, or the one after that.
You've experienced miscarriage or pregnancy loss and are struggling to trust your body again.
You're pregnant after fertility struggles, but finding it difficult to relax or believe that things will be okay.
Fertility treatment has become all-consuming, and you want to feel more like yourself again.
Fertility struggles are about far more than getting pregnant. They can affect your confidence, your relationships, your emotional wellbeing and the way you feel about yourself and your body.
Over the years, I've seen how important it is to address not only the practical realities of fertility treatment, but also the emotional impact it can have..
That's why I've created my Fertile Mind, Fertile You Method.
The Fertile Mind, Fertile You Method
This work doesn’t just soothe the surface. It goes deeper than stress management, positive thinking or simply trying to stay calm.
Over time, unresolved grief, fear, trauma, limiting beliefs or subconscious protections can begin operating outside of conscious awareness. This can sometimes create hidden barriers that are difficult to identify through conscious thinking alone.
Alongside my professional training and experience, I also bring personal experience of fertility struggles. I know first-hand how painful, lonely and all-consuming this journey can be, and how hard it is to keep hoping when hope has hurt before.
That's why I developed my Fertile Mind, Fertile You Method.
This integrative approach combines psychotherapy, fertility-focused hypnotherapy and mind-body techniques to help address the emotional, psychological and subconscious factors that may be affecting fertility, whilst also helping you navigate the journey with greater calm, resilience and self-compassion.
I've developed this approach through specialist fertility training, years of experience supporting women through fertility struggles, and extensive research into fertility-focused hypnosis, psychotherapy and mind-body approaches.
Together, we'll work towards calming anxiety, identifying and releasing subconscious blocks, helping your nervous system feel safer, and supporting your mind and body to work together rather than against each other, so you can give yourself the best possible chance of conception and move forward with greater hope, trust and possibility.
This mind-body fertility method is for you if:
You want to conceive naturally or with fertility treatment, such as IUI, IVF or ICSI.
You want to do everything you reasonably can to maximise your chances of becoming pregnant.
You suspect there may be subconscious beliefs, emotional patterns or unresolved experiences affecting your fertility, and you'd like help identifying and releasing them so that your mind and body can begin working together rather than against each other.
You feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, symptom-checking, fear or disappointment, and want to find a calmer, steadier place inside yourself.
You're preparing for IVF or embryo transfer and want to approach it feeling calmer, more confident and more emotionally supported.
You've experienced miscarriage, failed treatment or fertility-related trauma, and are struggling to trust your body again.
You're pregnant after fertility struggles, but finding it difficult to relax or believe that things will be okay.
You want support that addresses both the emotional impact of fertility struggles and the deeper subconscious patterns that may be keeping your system on high alert.
Imagine what it would feel like to have somebody on your side, helping you move through your fertility journey with greater calm, confidence and hope while giving yourself the best possible chance of pregnancy.
This is the work we do together
Designed around you
The Fertile Mind, Fertile You Method provides a clear framework, but no two women and no two fertility journeys are ever the same. I'll tailor the approach to your unique experiences, needs and goals, drawing on fertility-focused hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and mind-body techniques to create the support that's right for you.
Depending on your needs, our work together may include:
A safe, compassionate space to talk openly about what you're going through with someone who understands the emotional and practical realities of fertility struggles.
Identifying and releasing subconscious blocks, limiting beliefs, unresolved grief or emotional wounds that may be keeping you stuck or preventing your mind and body from moving forward together.
Using fertility-focused hypnosis and guided visualisation to help your mind and body practise and reinforce the healthy processes involved in conception, implantation and pregnancy, creating the conditions for them to function as effectively as possible.
Learning powerful tools to calm anxiety, regulate your nervous system and stop fertility treatment dominating every waking moment of your life.
Helping you reclaim parts of yourself that may have become lost beneath the emotional weight of the fertility journey.
Developing a healthier, more compassionate relationship with yourself, so you can move through your fertility journey with greater hope, confidence and possibility.
Alongside our sessions, you'll also receive personalised hypnosis recordings and carefully selected resources to reinforce the work we're doing together and help you continue making progress between appointments.
When trying harder isn’t helping
Many women come to me after trying everything they can think of to improve their fertility - supplements, acupuncture, mindset work, therapy, lifestyle changes and endless hours of research.
They're exhausted.
Not because they haven't been trying hard enough, but because they've been carrying the emotional weight of this journey for so long.
What they often discover is that fertility isn't just a physical journey.
It's an emotional one too.
Whilst they've been focusing on what to do differently, nobody has helped them explore what their mind, nervous system and subconscious may be carrying beneath the surface - and how those deeper patterns might be affecting the way they feel, cope and move through the fertility journey.
Sometimes we uncover unresolved grief.
Sometimes fear.
Sometimes trauma.
Sometimes limiting beliefs or protective patterns operating completely outside conscious awareness.
Sometimes nothing dramatic at all — simply a nervous system that has spent so long in a state of vigilance that it no longer remembers what it feels like to relax.
This is where the deeper work begins.
Not by trying harder.
Not by forcing positivity.
Not by blaming yourself for what's happening.
Sometimes the solution isn't found by pushing harder. It's found by creating the conditions in which your mind and body can move forward together.
Many women tell me that, for the first time in months or even years, they begin to feel calmer, lighter, more hopeful, more in control and more like themselves.
And whilst no therapist can guarantee pregnancy, creating the conditions for your mind and body to work together rather than against each other can be a powerful part of supporting your fertility journey.

Mind-body programmes & fertility hypnosis significantly increase pregnancy rates
The benefits of this work extend beyond reducing stress and anxiety. A growing body of research suggests that mind-body approaches and fertility-focused hypnosis can also improve pregnancy rates for some women.
Mind-body programmes with CBT
Research carried out at Harvard Medical School found that 55% of women who participated in a mind-body programme designed to reduce stress had a baby, compared to only 20% of the women who received no treatment.
Hypnosis during IVF
A study carried out by Professor Levitas of Soroka University Medical Centre (2006) found the conception rate in women who were hypnotised for embryo transfer during IVF was 53%, compared to that of the control group of women who were not hypnotised, which was 32%.
Fertility hypnotherapy
Dr. Peter Quinn, a pioneer in fertility, used hypnotherapy with a group of women between the ages of 26 and 42 who had durations of infertility between 2 and 12 years. 65% of the women went on to have a successful full-term pregnancy after hypnotherapy.
Finally feel confident you’re doing everything you can to support your fertility, while remaining calm, hopeful and in control.

FAQS
What others have wondered about the Fertile Mind, Fertile You Method
-
Potentially, yes - although it's rarely as simple as saying that stress alone causes infertility.
Fertility is influenced by many factors, including medical, hormonal, lifestyle and psychological ones. However, a growing body of research suggests that chronic stress and prolonged activation of the body's stress response can affect the delicate balance of hormones involved in reproduction and may have a negative impact on fertility for some women.
Encouragingly, research has also found that women who take part in mind-body programmes designed to reduce stress and improve emotional wellbeing often experience higher pregnancy rates than those who do not. This is one of the reasons I believe it's so important to support not only the physical aspects of fertility, but the emotional and psychological ones too.
From my perspective, it's also important to consider the subconscious mind. Sometimes unresolved grief, trauma, fear or deeply held protective beliefs can leave the nervous system in a state of vigilance, with the body no longer feeling completely safe. Whilst you may consciously want nothing more than to become pregnant, another part of your system may still be trying to keep you safe.
This isn't about blame or suggesting that you're "causing" your fertility struggles. Far from it. It's about recognising that your mind and body are deeply interconnected, and that by addressing the emotional, psychological and subconscious factors involved, you can create the best possible conditions for both your wellbeing and your fertility.

The best way to find out is to have a conversation
I offer a free 30 minute consultation where we can talk about your situation, explore my approach and answer any questions you may have. Together, we'll decide whether we'd be a good fit to work together and whether I believe this approach is likely to be helpful for you.
If I don't think I'm the right person to help, I'll tell you honestly. Where appropriate, I'm always happy to suggest other therapists or resources that may be a better fit for your needs.
-
It's not too late.
I'm often contacted by women who have already started IVF medication, or who are only days away from an embryo transfer, and wonder whether they've left it too late to benefit from this work.
In most cases, the answer is no. We can still begin calming your nervous system, reducing anxiety, addressing emotional barriers and using fertility-focused hypnosis and visualisation to support your treatment cycle. I'll also do my very best to work flexibly around your clinic schedule, even if dates change.
If you're approaching treatment, I'd encourage you to get in touch as soon as you can so we have as much time as possible to work together before key milestones.

Every woman and every fertility journey is different, so there’s no fixed number of sessions.
For many women, around 6–8 sessions provides enough time to address the emotional and subconscious factors that may be affecting fertility, while learning practical tools and techniques to support ongoing progress.
Some women choose to work together for a shorter period, while others benefit from longer-term support depending on their circumstances, goals and where they are in their fertility journey.
Throughout, I tailor the work to your individual needs so that it remains relevant, focused and effective.
-
Absolutely. Whilst many women come to me because they hope to improve their chances of conception, others are simply looking for support through one of the most painful and emotionally demanding experiences of their lives.
The uncertainty, repeated disappointments, grief and loss that can accompany fertility struggles can be overwhelming. You don't have to carry that alone.
I regularly support women through experiences such as:
miscarriage and baby loss
medical trauma
the emotional impact of infertility and fertility treatment
making difficult decisions about other ways of building a family
finding meaning, purpose and joy in a life that may not include children
Whether you're looking for fertility-focused support or a safe, compassionate space to process what you've been through, we'll use our free consultation to explore your needs and whether we'd be a good fit to work together.
